Call in to speak with the host

Today is Mayday, a historical day around the world, celebrating the struggle of the working class against the employing class, and more specifically, celebrating workers from the United States, who in 1886, went on General Strike, stopping all labor with the demand of fairness and egalitarian work practices. This day is celebrated the world over, but not in America, where the Haymarket Affair catapulted the American worker into the consciousness of workers the world over. Today, let's inspect why we are not taught about this in our schools, and why we do not celebrate this day in the same manner that the world does. In this day of economic fear mongering and gerrymandering of jobs, a lot could be learned from our rich history of revolt. Also we look at FEMA's control measures versus anarchist emergency response, with guest commentary by Mike Cannon of Aftershock Action Alliance. Oh yeah, and I'M BAAAAAAAACK!
