So, what about the possibility that the first candidate sets the precedent for the other candidates. Is there a possibility that if you’re a great interviewer, there won’t be anyone else that comes along that’s a better fit for the position?
Now, I can also imagine that they may not have everything solidified for the position, like the job duties and responsibilities, if it is a new position. How does this impact to being the first candidate brought in for an interview?
