This for me as a recovering codependent was really hard to learn. How was I to feel accepted and not apologize for who I am in a group pf people who might ( egads) disapprove of me?
The old me handled it....ok not well at all. I would isolate, become defensive and use my drug of choice.
Today after working a holistic program of recovery with yoga, 12 steps and lifestyle changes, I am learning to stop apologizing and making myself into someone I am not. I have much more fun and can be found dancing down the aisles of the supermarket!
On Monday's show, I will share with you a few tips and tricks on how you can move from an apologizer to an enjoyer of life!
