This week's guest on GOD UNPLUGGED is singer/songwriter Heather Powers. Heather draws inspiration from a very troubled past. Her compelling life saga includes assault, rape, addiction, divorce, emotional breakdown and utter brokenness. While her story is often incomprehensible, she focuses not on the trauma, but on the amazing restoration and redemption she has experienced. Powers has shared the stage with the likes of Huey Lewis and The News. During each episode of GOD UNPLUGGED I chat with famous authors, actors, athletes and recording artists about their faith. Howdy, My name is Zacchaeus T. Love. I was born in Americus JawJa and raised in Terrell County where I have been a poultry farmer for the past ten years. My Granddaddy fault in WWII and the Korean War as a gunner in the Navy. My Dad fought in Nam 101st Airborne Green Beret. And, I did my time in the Gulf myself. I was raised as a Southern Baptist. I believe is God, Guns and Country. My father and mother are believers in the Bible. When I was about twelve years old, my two brothers and I were baptized and joined a Church in Georgia.
