At the beginning of the 20th Century Joshua L. Brooks created what is now known as the Eastern States Exposition because he knew that farming in New England was declining and costs were soaring. Almost a century later his hopes to provide a forum which would inspire farmers and children to learn new farming methods and show off their livestock has been realized. The 4-H movement and FFA (formerly known as Future Farmers of America) share a day and the Farm-A-Rama building spotlights their accomplishments. This is an audio tour of that building found on the Eastern States Exposition grounds where you'll learn about everything from the Hallamore Clydesdales to the baby chicks. It is an attraction enjoyed by the young and old alike. Visit CruiseWithBruce.com to learn more and find out how you can download this audio tour for your visit to the BigE. The Eastern States Exposition opens every September for a couple of weeks. In 2010 it runs from September 17th to October 3rd.
