If women didn't cheat at least as much as men there wouldn't be the popular American saying "a mother's baby, a father's maybe."
I think women get away with cheating a whole lot more than society is willing to admit. Given that 30% of paternity tests conducted by the American Association of Blood Banks (I may be wrong about the actual name of the organization) turn out negative this means plenty of women are cheating and have been getting away with it for years until DNA tests became available.
