God willing, join the Brother Marcus Show on this Friday, March 25, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. EST, as we once again welcome the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan live from Jackson, Mississippi! The Minister is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Sixth Annual Veterans of the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement Conference at Mississippi's Jackson State University. The Conference, hosted at Jackson State University, began Wednesday, March 23 and continues through Saturday, March 26. While we can only broadcast the video portion of his message, you can catch the video presentation live via Webcast: Friday 7:30pm Central Time @ http://NOI.org/Webcast/ For more information on the conference including the detailed schedules and contact information, log on to the official conference website @ http://www.MSCivilRightsVeterans.org About the MS Civil Rights Veterans There is a common thread that runs through the lives of the individuals who were active in the Civil Rights Movement in this country. That thread is a commitment to service. Whether as educators, public servants, community activists or non-profit staff, the Veterans have a desire to help provide leadership as practitioners, counselors or mentors in the ongoing pursuit of human rights. In 2004, the Veterans created an organization with the mission of preserving the history of the Mississippi Movement.
