Sunday, March 6, 2011 Show – “Navigating the Challenges of Blended Families in 2011”

God willing, on this Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. EST, Motivational Speaker and Talk Show Host, Brother Marcus, will address the topic – “Navigating the Challenges of Blended Families”. Man oh man…you’re divorced…And now you are looking to get married again. You’ve got some ‘chiren’ from your previous marriage and your potential new spouse has some ‘chiren’ from their previous marriage… You are about to become a blended family! Blended families have to deal with where to live, what to call each other, how to include the other spouse and relatives, how to establish emotional ties with the children and how to discipline the children. Blended families can mean less privacy, more noise, shared space and fewer opportunities for time alone. A childless man or woman marrying into a family with children will need to learn parenting strategies. We will discuss this and more this Sunday. We will also discuss the importance of dealing with the root cause of why your former marriage didn’t work out. If your previous marriage(s) failed, take the time to figure out the root cause, so that you don't bring the same problem(s) into the next one.
