“Domestic Violence 2009 – Why are we beating each other down like we are?

On Sunday December 21, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. we discussed, “Domestic Violence 2009 – Why are men living in women’s mouth’s like dentists and why are women beating men up with their fists and their mouths?” According to the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence, approximately 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States alone. African Americans, especially African American Women, suffer deadly violence from family members at rates decidedly higher than for other racial groups in the United States. The number one killer of African-American women ages 15 to 34 is homicide at the hands of a current or former intimate partner.
