    It's been several years of reading and writing poetry, as a spoken word artist. It started with my passion to speak vs sing or rap. It was in the movie "Love Jones" and though I had enjoyed being out spoken in poetry, I then begin to write and share it with family, friends, and fans. Since then I've been published in news articles and in my senior year book. My goal is to finish my own book of poems to share with the world.

    Pretty Lady

    Just another pretty face,
    I'm not the type of man to chase,
    I am not looking for another possession,
    Another time wasting daily lust obsession.


    I know what pretty girls like,
    Except it's A Woman's light I await,
    The one who comes running before it's way to late,
    The type that knows their beauty is more then skin deep,

    I've turned heads & rub shoulders,
    I'm curled toes and tasted the rainbow of waterfalls,
    Went from Head to Toes and not necessarily in that order,
    You can't always have it your way, trying to play this game.


    The first one is just a shame on me,
    The second and third was shame on you,
    When you have Bench warmers who weren't even threw,
    Why do you want to draft another?

    You can't steal the heart of a King,
    It has to be given Freely,
    This Man you can't pass no pawn or part time lover,
    Even Stevie was left to wonder.


    A Ribbon in the sky could we be just friends or kissing under a Tree,
    A promise without a kiss, the future there is no telling,
    If you make a wish, you have to save yourself,
    No man or women wants a unfinished project chick.


    If think you found what you need,
    then give other man, what he really wanted,
    Know that....First come, doesn't mean, First Served,
    It just means you won't have to wait in line as long.


    Check First, if you have your T-shirt and your panties on,
    If your listening to the sounds of my voice over my words,
    If you really want all that you desire that fuels your inner fire,
    My passion burns in the rain, what comes next you will have to learn.


    You only get one turn, to score the most High,
    The rest will be asked to put down their pens and leave out the door,
    All the past will soon be erased,
    If their lucky I'll remember their face,

    Except there can be only one Queen,
    class is in session and it's time for a lesson,
    on this level you can't be guessing,
    You will be put to the test again, and again starting now "Anytime, Anyplace"
