It’s pretty common nowadays in the personal growth community to hear people say that happiness is a choice, me included. What we don’t often explain is how to choose happiness. We assume that it’s easy for everyone regardless of what is going on in their lives to just turn to themselves and say “I’m going to be happy now.” While it may very well be easy for some to do just that, the majority of us need a little bit of direction on how to drastically change our feelings. What people often ask me is “how can I choose happiness when what I’m feeling is anger, hurt, abandoned, or unlovable.” Even though it seems far-fetched to choose happiness when you feel the world is collapsing around you, it’s not as hard as it seems. Tune to learn a very simple process that I use daily to regain my peace of mind and connect with my happiness.
