How much can one person do to help build a 'better world'?  A better world...without starvation, homelessness, without war.   A world without ignorance, without decisions based on fear and prejudice.   Is anything we try to do helpful?  Should we even try?  What is possible in a lifetime?   Well, we know right away that one lifetime is not long enough to solve all the challenges of living in our 'modern times'.  But, we are sitting on the front stoop today because we are sure that conversations about humanitarian efforts are important.  One persons idea can become inspiration for another persons action.  And so we are connected and build on each others efforts even in humanitarianism.  Seed ideas are planted.  We can all do seed planting and if the soil is good a seed idea can grow through generations.  Making that better world as it grows.
