Philip T. Hicks, is the author of "The Cross and the .357 Magnum," which tells the story of how the author lived the life of a prodigal son that led him to a maximum security prison and a sentence of life plus 15 years. He found Jesus during this time, told the truth at his trial, and was miraculously released from prison. Philip T. Hicks is founder of A Merry Heart Ministries. He performs, entertains, and ministers all over the world. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Television & Journalism, Philip went on to study acting and has used his skills on both radio and television, doing promotions and voice-overs. His ad lib skills have led to over 20 years as a professional entertainer. After being faithful to minister in northern California area prisons for several years, in 2008 the Hicks embarked on a one year, coast-to-coast mission to minister to youth, men, and women behind bars.
