Almost three years ago, actor, writer and director John Schneider was filming his movie "Smothered" on location in Holden, Louisiana. He and his crew were shooting on 58 acres known as Camp Singing Waters, an area that had once been a summer camp.

John realized the land was so diverse that he and other filmmakers could shoot everything they needed, without ever having to change locations. He bought Camp Singing Waters and has been developing the area into an independent film studio, a place where he, along with other filmmakers shooting on a small budget, can make their movies. However, heavy rains have now flooded most all of the property. Structures both old and new have been filled with water. John and his team are determined to stay strong despite the setback, and continue developing the studio. The damage has been extensive, and your contributions are very much appreciated.
