The Reverend Dr. Stanley L Scott …

is the Pastor of Salvation Temple Church in Metropolitan Detroit – Hazel Park, MI.

His heart and purpose is to do the will of God for his life; believing that he is called to preach and teach the Word of God with clarity and simplicity. His mission is to help people have confidence in God through knowing and applying His Word to their lives.

Pastor Scott’s ministerial experience celebrates over 42 years preaching and teaching!

After completing his graduate degree from Payne Theological Seminary at Wilberforce Ohio, and from a pastorate in Urbana, Ohio, Dr. Scott became a co-pastor of an American Baptist Church in Detroit.

He then went on to open Salvation Temple Church, and subsequently joined the staff at Word of Faith ICC also in Detroit. While there, his biggest contribution was his service for over 16 years as a Senior Assistant Pastor, Dean of Education, Bible Training Centers and International Missions Director.

Traveling always seemed to be woven into the assignments that God called Pastor Scott to do such as, building a church in Bommur, India in 1985.

In later years, he traveled weekly to Atlanta, Georgia from Detroit and to Scotland from London, England for several years as Dean of the B T C and Pastor of W O F Church London.

The greatest accomplishment of Dr. Scott’s life is his marriage to his “Chocolate Diamond” Carolyn for over 45 years, and their four (4) children. The oldest, Shauna La Rae and husband Myron Weathers are parents to Caleb, Cameron, and Cara. Their three sons are Stanley Lewis II, Carlon Le Monte, and Carroll Langston and wife Caira are parents to the youngest grandchildren, Caedyn, Carroll II and Cai. His family is the joy of his life, and the grandchildren are the sparkle of his eyes!
