Accusation - Just One Phase of the Prosperity Cycle

Joseph's brothers have chosen to take the step to return to Egypt to get more food because of the famine in Canaan.  Joseph intends to bless them.  However, he takes his brothers through a series of accusations and then verification before allowing a reunion.  The prosperity cycle includes a period of accusation.  Joseph was the subject of false accusation by Potipher's wife and  he was imprisoned as a result.   Joseph is now using (deliberate) accusation to verify the integrity of his brothers.
