Valentines day is one of the most commercialized holidays each year. Men and women run around to prove their love on this one day, when in reality, we should be proving our love all year round.
But what happens if you don't have a "Boo" to send you flowers, give you rich chocolates or take you to that 5 Star restaurant? What if your "Boo" is acting like a "Bozo" ?
My co-host today is Minister Lisa Dortch, a woman on the move for God that will share some tips to learning how to love yourself.
Lisa is the founder of "Church Girls Rock." An organization that believes being a Christian does not mean your life should be dull or boring. Instead, it is their goal to help others experience the abundant life through fun Christian experiences.
The mission statement of Church Girls Rock is “Loving God. Enjoying Life.”
Remembering Monica
We will also take time to remember Monica Mazique Smith, who has recently gone on to Glory ( 1972-2013 ) . Monica was determined to not allow her disability dictate her life.
Monica's testimony was featured in Breathe Again Magazine a few months ago. A testimony of faith, determination and never, ever giving up.
Author Venus Mason Theus stops by the show to remember Monica's contribution to this world.
