Marta Saltus is the first grassroots Presidential  Alternate Delegate from  Virginia to be a guest on Breaking News Journal"IN Air" Radio. She is the first delegate to be a guest on BNJ Radio. Marta and her Associate Delegate Evan will share the high  emotions in preparing for the Republican National Convention in Tampa Florida. What are their duties and what is expected of them as they prepare for the big week?

Evan Draim who will join Marta is a 17-year old high school student, and will be the youngest delegate attending the Republican National Convention in Tampa next week. Evan was elected on May 12, 2012 to represent Virginia's 8th Congressional
District (Marta Saltus is an alternate delegate from the same
district). Prior to my election as delegate, Evan says:" I founded the Coalition for a Conservative Future, which seeks to educate American students about how conservative principles are most beneficial for their future. In this capacity, I have written articles for Andrew Brietbart's BigGovernment.com, spoken at the Conservative Political Action Conference, and coordinated youth outreach for numerouscampaigns." Currently Evan is the Chairman of "Young Ambassadors for Allen," which represents the youth wing of George Allen's campaign for US Senate. Although he has not lived in Mount Vernon, Virginia his entire life, Evan is a second-generation American, whose  grandparents immigrated to the United States from Hungary after being kicked out of their homeland following World War II and sent to a displaced persons camp in Germany.  Evan is very excited to nominate Mitt Romney, the next President of the United States, in Tampa and grateful to Republican voters in his district for giving him the opportunity to represent an often underrepresented demographic: American youth!
