Kasey Kahne wins the Oral-B USA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway after the second green white checkered, he was able to power past Matt Kenseth who had two tires, to go on to win the Oral-B USA 500. For Kahne, this win locks him into the chase. For Kenseth, this run locks him into the chase points-wise.
Joe Gibbs Racing was money on pit road and Kevin Harvick's team cost him the race on pit road. The 4 team is dominant time in and time out, and consistantly cannot seem to seal the deal.
Attaboys Danica Patrick finished 6th. Track position was still important, not as important, but still very important. Kyle Larson constantly gets better and better each week.
Kyle Busch had a tough night again. His teammates, Kenseth and Hamlin had strong runs, Kyle did not. He seemed frustrated with the night, wrecking both Tony Stewart and getting into an altercation with Martin Truex, Jr.
Double file restarts seem to cost both Harvick and Hamlin the race. The top lane was doomed all night long. Is it time for the double-file restarts to go away? How much of a disadvantage is the leader at?
