Lori Tsugawa Whaley entertains and informs as she brings ancient Japanese folk tales to life with her animated style of storytelling. Lori is a third generation Japanese American author, professional keynote speaker and life coach. Having endured and painstakingly continuing to recover from not one, but two auto collisions, Lori’s resilience has been strongly tested. It is one thing to model the ways of the Samurai Warrior in good times. It is another thing to do so after being diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), endure years of rehabilitation, and now is a TBIsurvivor. Her compassion to guide others through tough times is informed by her own journey to regain wellness against demanding odds. See More about Lori and her new book The Courage of a Samurai - Seven Sword-Sharp Principles for Success at: LoriWhaley.com

This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers.

Front part of show is a featured guest. The second is Open Mic and some great Indy Music, sure to inspire! Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at inaflash.org & "Like" at facebook.com/inaflash.org and braininjuryradio.com
