Lori is an Author, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, a Wife, a Functional Person in Society and last; but not least, a Survivor from a Traumatic Brain Injury/7 day coma. When she became alert from the coma she had amnesia to all functioning and needed to re-learn how to move, breathe, eat, walk, talk, think then eventually return to  adulthood.  She remembers frustration, confusion even a desire to die. She learned that happiness is a choice and says “I choose to enjoy life”

For her first show Lori will be interviewing Tammy Pizzimenti, she is the Director of Communications at Life Skills Village (LSV) in West Bloomfield, Michigan.  She has a Masters in Health Administration/Informatics from the University of Phoenix.

Life Skills Village is a Community Reintegration with Rehabilitation program for the traumatically brain injured. Clients benefit from: Care at every stage of recovery, a business that is owned and operated by a clinical team, a transdisciplinary team, it is ecologically valid, metric and functional measures for outcomes, individualized programming, experiential learning, re-enginering all aspects of life, development of increased independence, change in behaviors, reaching for personal goals & person focused interventions.

Tammy is the component that coordinates media, public out reach, publication and advertisements for LSV. Because of her job position Tammy has regular communication with the staff and clients to better enable her to properly represent the business. She will discuss aspects of happiness or the lack of as seen at her job.
