Power the people (2) with Brain Injury

Working for an Center for Independent Living which Is a disability rights agency have learned over time that as Citizens protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act people with Brain Injury get treated rather poorly even with that so It is time to take a stand and make a big difference now.

We Advocating for real changes but we have realize that to get our message heard we have to advocate by using our buying power, our voting power, and visiting or calling our legislators!

As brain injury survivors we are the best people to speak about Brain Injury and have a need to know about how to get the World to listen to us.

Our leader and elected officials need to know we are a strong group of concerned citizens and voters and we have the power to help elect or defeat our officials if they do not properly represent us!!!

We all as individuals and as a team should make a point to make a call or schedule a visit with our State, local or federal elected officials and let them know our concerns on brain injury policy because if we come together as a strong and united group we can change the World for people with TBI and related disabilities everywhere!

So I am hoping that we can come up with a list of things we should do to prepare ourselves for a meeting them in person or over the phone. Let’s get the ball up and running because I see great things are on their way to help empower brain injury survivors!
