With more and more people being diagnosed each day with a Brain Injury as a result of truama, unemployment is on the rise. It was Ortega Y Gasset who defined "Genius", as the ability to invent ones occupation.

As the World's first OFFICIAL TBI THRIVER, Kevin dares to share his insight and experiences to inspire others with Brain Injuries to create a More FUNctional LIFE using a unique perspective with "WTF?".

THIS WEEK: Other than the game itself,  the term "Whac-a-mole" is used to describe a repetitious and futile task.  Each time an undesired situation is "whacked" it only pops up again somewhere else.  You may feel like you are chasing your own tail or running in circles because the same situation keeps coming up and you never really solve it.

For many of us with a brain injury,  these experiences are typical,  and often have led us down an undesired path,  without even realizing the consequences along the way. One way to whack such "habits" is to create "steps" that will redirect our attention and focus on what is desired.

To achieve such success for a FUNctional LIFE,  "Practice makes Progress", so taking one-step-at-a-time will help you break that "cycle".  If you are familiar with the game,  "Whac-a-mole," you will understand the symbolism that I have discovered on MyTBILIFE journey.

Join me tonight as I share some of my own personal experiences of various challenges I have faced in my life,  the steps I have taken to become a TBI Thriver.  All are welcome to call-in and share your thoughts and experiences LIVE or in the Chat Room with the "Marvelous Maggie" (Kevin's 24/7 Partner and Professional Care Assistant)
