Others have been our voice,

Well lots of changes going on around the country, different pieces of legislation around the country and organizations do what they want and there is nothing to show for the money, mine being one of them.  People are getting stuck in the system and no one cares, unless there is money associated with something or fame, nothing happens, like sports even though less than 2% of all youth injuries involve organized sports a ton of money goes it to that, and its people thinking they are going to teach doctors about concussion, it is a joke take brain injury out of private not profits put it in the hands of survivors and public health.  Time to change things up we have to keep uniting with all of the other disability communities, we have no voice. 

Whats interesting about brain injury we are fighting around the country to get a lable while most disabilities are trying to get rid of the lables.  Does your state have good systems in place, or does is suck, is it fixable or better to do something new.  We are just begininning to travel the road to being recognized.  As long as others speak for us we will not have a voice.  Together we can change the decades of people talking for us, and be seen for who we are.
