Accepting the new you after TBI!
Hosted by: Les Paul Morgan
You know when people say to me think outside of the box I say no get rid of the box because if the box never existed many brain injury survivors wouldn't feel as if their life was trapped in a box!
Life after brain injury should be considered a new beginning that is once we begin to find ourselves after the injury and hospital stays.
What I really mean about destroy the box is to destroy the negative stereotypes of people with traumatic brain injuries and remove the segregation of people with brain injuries and other disability stereotypes that have been developed over very long time!
I challenge all of us including myself to dig deeper inside of ourselves and find the new you and begin letting go of the bad things that have happened in the past.
I encourage you to call in as well is chat on tonight's show the Dream Catchers with Les Paul and share your stories both good and bad of how you cope with your TBI or intend to make bolder changes in your life!
