Named after the Roman god of commerce, travel and thievery, Mercury is the second smallest planet in the solar system, larger only than Pluto, the most distant planet in our solar system. We leave the Moon and the earth's orbit completely - next stop 2 planets ahead Sun wise and it's a hot tomale – Mercury!
The sign that the planet Mercury was in at your birth and its house placement is all about your mental processes, how you handle and retrieve information, and how you communicate overall. Your Mercury describes how detailed (or in my case, chaotic) your thoughts are and in what manner or style you speak.
