The GOP controlled House of Representatives passed an extend the payroll tax cut on a vote of 234 to 193. The bill also cuts the maximum length of unemployment benefits from 99 weeks to 59 weeks, repeals some provisions of health care law, changes the way Medicare pays doctors, removes environmental regulations, and allows construction of Keystone XL oil pipeline in time for 2012 election.
