The Boston Mayoral Primary(Results)

In what has turned out to be the most competitive mayor's race in 16 years,Mayor Thomas M. Menino is in a fight for his political life with Councilors at Large Sam Yoon and Michael F. Flaherty Jr., and South End developer Kevin McCrea. The turnout by 6pm, the total number of ballots cast was 61,184. That equals 7.3% of the registered voters in Boston.This means the turnout could go as high as 70,000 plus
