Beverly Mahone is a veteran journalist, author, radio talk show host, tv show host and motivational speaker who talks about issues affecting middle-aged women.  

Beverly was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in journalism.  Her career has taken her to West Virginia, Boston, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

After spending more than 25 years in the radio and television news business, Beverly was fired from her last TV job in March 2006 for refusing to give up her dream of publishing her first book.  She decided to use her media expertise to create BAMedia---as a media consultant she trains individuals how to market themselves to radio, television and newspapers professionals. 

Beverly, who has been classified as a baby boomer expert by the media, has appeared on numerous radio and talk programs including:

WOR Radio in with Henican and White (New York City)
The Audrey Chapman Show (Washington, DC)

Beverly currently hosts a radio show called The Boomer Beat on WCOM Radio 103.5FM in Carrboro, NC and the Boomer Beat TV Show in Durham and Chapel Hill.  She resides in NC with her husband and grandson.  Beverly describes herself as a woman on the move who has a passion for God and family.
