Show Host Jody Devere is the Founder and Owner of the nationally recognized site www.askpatty.com. Her site is dedicated to the education, support and assistance for women when it comes to buying or repairing their autos. Her program is instrumental in the certification of auto shops and dealerships nationwide as "female friendly." In this inaugural show,Jody's guests are: Lori Johnson Owner - Ladies Start Your Engines Amy Mattinat Owner and Author - Auto Craftsmen Ltd Lori’s business, Ladies, Start Your Engines! is a light maintenance class for women. Lori teaches her class using venues such as automotive dealerships, colleges, local adult education centers and women’s organizations. She enjoys empowering women with automotive knowledge so that they can feel confident when servicing or purchasing parts for their vehicles and she helps them become a more informed consumer. Lori Johnson is an adjunct faculty member in the Automotive Technology program at the Community College of Philadelphia. She has 7 years experience as an automotive technician and a new car service manager for a Honda dealership. She has been an automotive information specialist and automotive editor for Chilton Publications/SPX Information Services. She has also prepared test preparation guides for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Amy Mattinat is the owner of Auto Craftsmen, an independent dealership in Vermont. Amy is passionate about automotive excellence. She feels that great customer service, communication, and continually educating her clients and staff are the key to her success. Amy wrote, "How To Buy A Great Used Car", which is available FREE at www.autocraftsmen.com. She believes that anyone can purchase a quality used car no matter what their budget is.
