Join Maggie McReynolds of BookJourneys Radio as she interviews author Maureen Lake on the writing and publishing of her book, Being Happy, Raising Happy: The Empowered Mom's Guide to Helping Her Spirited Child Bloom. 

Maureen's experience in writing this book was like being in a vortex which sucked her in. It wasn't an easy task for her to tell the story of her life and family. "At times, I had difficulty being honest with myself while writing... how deep did I really want to delve - but focus was never an issue," she admitted. She knew the moment she woke up if she'd be writing for the day. 

It was her intention in writing the book that she'd be able to help other mothers along their journey and also to honor the story of her daughter.
