Join Dr. Angela Lauria of Book Journeys Radio as she interviews author James Wilmot, on the writing and publishing of his book for the holiday season, The Boy Who Became Father Christmas.

One thing everyone should know about author James Wilmot is that he loves Christmas. The story for The Boy Who Became Father Christmas appeared in his head one Christmas already fully formed and, for him, it was really just a question of getting it on paper. "Although I did form the story 100% in my head, I ran out of steam half way through," he said beside the fact that it's a story that's very dear and personal to him. In order to complete the story, he jumped to the end and went backwards until he met himself in the middle.

For Wilmot, success came silently like Santa in the night. "I wish I knew the feeling of accomplishment I got when the book went to number 1!" he said. "It’s a great feeling to know that I have contributed to the literature of Christmas."
