Join Dr. Angela Lauria of The Author Incubator as the interviews author Julia Roberts on the publishing of her book, Sex, Lies, and Creativity, which is her third book. It's actually an easy-to-read version of her Masters research, stripped of its academic opacity and made to sing, as she put it, For Roberts, it's more important to move the reader than to create an unassailable argument in a labored defensive style of writing. "It just flowed," she said about the writing of the book. "I knew the material and was writing it for the reader."
The best thing to come out of having this book, according to Roberts, was being on Bestseller status ontwo different lists: Creativity & Genius and Women's Studies.
