Mary Page is the newest member of the Books of Excellence. She is the author of a novel "The Grand New Dehli Escapade." She lives in Baytown, Texas. After a 14 year education career, Mary started a business known as Page's Prolific Prose. Her business involves writing SEO copy, advertising text, articles, state assessments and ghost writing. Mary tutored under Kristin Nitz at the Institute of Children's Literature. Guardian Angel Publishing is in process of publishing her children's book "Ways to Say Zero". Mary is presently tutoring under Tom Hyman author of "Jupiter's Daughter" and "Seven Days to Petrograd" with the Long Ridge Writer's Group also associated with the Institute. After facing numerous personal challenges, she met a man from India on Facebook who shared the tragedy of his brother's death at a young age. The author had lost a daughter at birth. "We talked about when someone dies it is the realization of what they miss in life afterwards. We thought about the people they do not meet, the stories they miss, and the events they never participate in. India has a different way of looking at things that helped me sort through my issues." She is writing the sequel.
