Tonight my guest is Christina Shaw who writes poetry and prose.

C.M. Shaw is an author hailing from Omaha, Nebraska.  She began her writing journey in high school where she was threatened with suspension from her basketball team for a nearly failing grade in English.  With the help of her English teacher, Shaw was able to pull up her grades to continue playing basketball and discovered that she had a knack for writing.  Throughout College Shaw wrote for Grace University’s “Glad Tidings”, and “The West O” and penned a couple manuscripts.

Shaw embraces all forms of writing, though most of her novels are rooted in Historical Fiction with strong moral values. In all Shaw has written 18 novels, and her recently self-published book, “Through the Mire: a Collection of Poems”. Shaw plans on releasing “Tea Time Reflections: a Compilation of Essays” in April, 2013 on Amazon.

When not writing, Shaw enjoys gardening, painting, and spending time with her family.

This show features independent authors. Most of the authors are from The Books of Excellence Co-op which you can view at www.BooksofExcellence.com. Other independenet authors are guests as time allows. '
