Tonight's guest is Dan O'Brien. Dan O'Brien is an editor, writer, and screenwriter. He currently attends a California university and is pursuing a graduate degree in psychology. He has written over 10 novels, several screenplays, and is working on a graphic novel. He also views himself as a philosopher and martial artist. In Dan's word, "My days are filled with writing and training."

Dan is an eclectic writer who dabbles in many genres, though most have sweeping elements of scientific inquiry and reason. Most of the novels fall into the categories of science fiction and fantasy, though there is something for everyone. Romance, horror, young adult, and even drama have found their way from his mind to paper.

Dan was born in Connecticut and moved with his family several times over the course of his childhood. Having lived in several states and attended many institutions, he has a unique perspective of the human condition. Each new place, every new relationship, has allowed for him to paint from a rich easel of colors. A lifelong practitioner and enthusiast of martial arts, elements of spiritualism and eastern culture have found a home in Dan's works.
