Peter Clark’s book Staff Monkeys: A Stockbroker’s Journey Through The Global War On Terror, has been meet with national acclaim and has been nominated for book of the year in the humor category by the Military Writers Society of America.  He says that it is not difficult to write humor about the military; anybody who has spent more than a day in uniform understands that some of the idiosyncrasies of military life are just too funny not to laugh at.  From having to go through a metal detector before boarding a military flight to Baghdad while fully armed to explaining about the army’s program for environmentally friendly hand grenades, Peter is not afraid to broach any topic for the sake of a laugh. 

Peter was recently assigned to the US III Armored Corps as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-7 (Information Operations) at Fort Hood Texas and is working on a yet untitled sequel to Staff Monkeys when he is not busy being all he can be for the Army.  To learn more about Peter Clark please visit http://www.staffmonkeys.com
