Books of Excellence

This show features independent authors. Tonight's show features Dr. Enriqueta Cartagena Mayuga. Dr. Rikki, her nickname, came to American from the Philippines in 1963 as a physician. She faced tremendous prejudice during the escalation of the Viet War era, but yet continued to overcome the numerous obstacles to become a successful doctor, poet, and author. Her pain and hope are reflected in her words. She is the author of eight books of poems and prose. Tonight we will feature her latest book LANDSCAPE OF A CHALLENGED LIFE.
