During and after Katrina, the Mississippi Gulf Coast suffered the worst destruction Katrina had to offer. While the media focused on New Orleans, the people of the Gulf Coast struggled to make sense of the total destruction. The storm surge at extended inland up to 12 miles and left in its wake pure destruction. Join us this evening for a discussion with Ron Charest and other folks from the Gulf Coast region as they tell their story of perseverance in the face of terror. This show features stories of the Heroes of Katrina based on the newly released hit seller "Katrina, A Freight Train Screamin' by author Cary Black. Each week the show presents guests who were part of the rescue efforts after the most horrific tragedy to ever hit the Gulf Coast.
