Call in to speak with the host
Thank you for joining this segment of The Struggle Continues. This week we welcome our very special guest and Sister in this struggle, Brooklyn NY's very own Keisha Hopkins-Forrester.
Mrs. Hopkins-Forrester has decided to take her efforts in this struggle to another level; New York City Council! Yes, we will talk politics, economics, and bluntly put and most important, how do we keep Black and Brown people alive amid these hostile times and environments.
If you live in NYC - it's in your best interest to get involve in this dialog - and if you're outside of the NYC area, still get involved so you can apply these strategies to your local government. Listen in and help us encourage this Sister who dare to venture further out on the front-lines. We gonna keep this real - no degree of "political correctitude!"
Our goals are to save lives and empower people by raising their levels of consciousness! We must realize that whether or not our Struggle Continues, those cycles of oppression - discrimination- and racism, has and will! We have the power to replace self-destruction with self-determination -- so let's do it!
This is Bones X, signing off; Check-Mate.
