Messy Mya a Young Talent Loss/Social Networking & the Attention Whores

This past weekend a young man lost life to senseless violence. “Messy Mya” was an up and coming YouTube comic who was gunned down on the streets of New Orleans, LA while attending the baby shower of his unborn child. The thing that makes this even worse of an event was that on-lookers Twitpic’ed his lifeless body and hit the internet before the police could even arrive. We personally find this appalling that some people are some eager to be the center of attention on social networks they will go to any length, even the most inhuman or unethical. These people are what we “Attention Whores”. And the person who took this picture is the epitome of this and we will discuss this tonight.
