Colleen MIlls, the President of the Michigan Citizens for Peace comes to the program today to fill us in on the most incredible opportunity coming to MIchigan on Wednesday September 21st, the United Nations International Day of Peace. The Kell Kearns film GLOBALIZED PEACE will have its Michigan Premiere that evening at the Livonia Civic Center Library, 32777 Five Mile Rd. This film explores the oneness at the center of the colorful diversity among the world's religions. It shows spiritual leaders and activists coming together in search of unity in addressing the crises facing humanity and the earth. The cornerstone of the film is its coverage of one of the largest interfaith gatherings in history, "The Parliment of the World's Religions" held in Melbourne, Austrailia in December 2009, with unforgettable humanitarian efforts nad grassroots peace projects. Come early to the library and catch the exhibition of the children's international peace art.
