The 'collectivist vs individual rights and liberties' is the debate that this country should be having right now, but instead we get members of the media, left, and right are trying to distract us with scares of healthcare problems like swine flu and healthcare cost. All the while we have Sec. Clinton going all over the world trying to garner support for universal gun laws, that the US would have to follow as a member of the UN. We have a president who has said in the past that the Bill of Rights is a negative set of rights. We also have a adminstration that associates with now dictators, terrorist, and radicals that want to see America brought to her knees. Now even though the previous adminstration did not hang out with dictators, terrorist, or radicals, they did however give sweet heart contracts to their buddies. They also took a balanced budget and left us 4+ trillion in the red. Now these are just a couple of the hundreds of examples of how both sides are playing us to believe they are different. As I see it, the only differences between the two is what rights they want to infringe on and what size to grow the government to. We need to wake up and start calling out the collectivist who want to take away the one thing that makes America so attractive, and that is our individual liberties and rights.
