Radio Boadicea  

Having recently been introduced to Blog Talk Radio, (by the inestimable host of Heading Left here on BTR, James Boyce and Nate Wilcox who joins him on the blog of the same name), I wanted to take it out for a test drive.

Wracking my brain for something that wouldn't bore me out of my skull to talk about in case I raise no callers to join me, I thought of Miz Molly Ivins, whom we lost this week.

There is a memorial service planned, and the tributes flowing from the pens of her colleagues have been numerous and eloquent.  I'll have a few of my own to add, and perhaps some excerpts from my favorite columns.

But mostly, I want to talk about what we do now. 

A strong clear voice for common sense, justice, and political courage has been silenced, and that is a fact.

But it's a silence that needs filling. And that means you and me better start talking common sense, justice, and political courage.
