Blueshirt Underground Radio was founded in 2009, and is now in its 10th year of being the only live radio broadcast devoted to the New York Rangers. Hosted by lifelong Ranger fans Eddie Gieck and Jim Schmiedeberg, BSU Radio is not some boring podcast that just drones on and on. It’s a lively discussion of everything related to the Rangers, where nothing is off-limits. Rants about the players, announcers, and opponents are commonplace, no one is off limits. It’s a show that prides itself in dishing out tough love to the team it adores. Not only is the show funny and entertaining, it’s also fully interactive. It’s the only radio show you can call into any time of year and talk Ranger hockey, and we also chat with you in our live chatroom throughout the show. You can log into our chat using your Facebook account, or by registering on blogtalkradio.com

In the Blueshirt Underground, we believe in the “eye test”, we believe in watching the games. We’re not going to bore you with advanced stats, we leave that to the stat nerds who’d rather pore over spreadsheets than actually watch the games. If you’re in the Underground, you don’t need some dopey advanced stat to tell you what you already know. In the Underground, we’re about entertaining you. Imagine you’ve walked into a bar, and everyone’s a Ranger fan, and we’re just talking hockey and busting balls. That’s who we are.

Ranger fans around the world have become part of the Blueshirt Underground, it’s time you do too.
