Today, Nadine will call in from a tree planting ceremony in the Little Haiti section of Miami, Florida. Several areas of Miami are being 'reclaimed' as green areas, i.e. neighborhood parks.As part of Operation Green Leaves outreach effort, Nadine participates in these events when they are in neighborhoods with a significant Haitian population in order to talk to children about the importance of maintaining tree cover.Check out www.oglhaiti.com for more information.
