DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with Brig. Gen. Michael R. Boera, commander of the Combined Air Power Transition Force, the organization charged with developing military and police air power for Afghanistan. Brig. Gen. Boera has recently returned from a trip to the United States with General Mohammad Dawran, the commander of the Afghan National Army Air Corps. While traveling together, Generals Boera and Dawran visited groups of students and military leaders, presenting the message about recent advances in their effort to build a professional, independent, and capable "air force" able to meet Afghanistan's security needs for today and in the future. Brig. Gen. Boera is available to discuss the outcomes of this trip and other questions related to the development of air power in Afghanistan.
