Thursday Spotlight On Michael Phipps

I am an artist and illustrator who has been drawing and creating all my life. I have created illustrations for book covers, magazines, CD covers, posters, web sites, and more. I've been recognized by both the Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts, appearing in their publications and in the Society’s New York gallery. Recently one of my CD covers earned me a place in Luerzer's Archive Special "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 07/08." I also love creating and listening to music both beautiful and bizarre, the outdoors, being with friends, and spending time with my wife, kids and extended family.

Citizens Of Contrary Knowledge are a New York City band whose four members come from extremely varied backgrounds, life experiences, and musical influences, but upon hearing them, you get the impression they've known each other for a lifetime...or more.
