Tells of a BLIND, 10% SIGHT, RENAISSANCE HORSEMAN. I have only 10% sight and I have been involved with horses for almost 30 years. But horses are not the only interests I have. You will hear of some of my horse experiences and of the other CRAZY things I have done. I do not intend to tiptoe through life only to arrive safely at death.

    HAPPY SPRING

    I would like to say happy first day of SPRING.  I hope that it warms up for those of you that live where it is cold.  I also hope that it brings in a time where everyone starts to get well.  Were I live it is going to be colder the firs fewt days of SPRING.  But I am not worried, because the horses that I groomed on Wednesday told me that  SPRING is here, they are sheding like crazy.  Also the stud is telling me that love is in the air.  So I hope that the first day of SPRING is a great and wonderful day for everyone.  A day of a lot of growth and new things in your life.
    Once again if you know anyone that is blind, going blind, or has lost their sight later in life, I would love to hear from them.  I can reasure them that they can do ANYTHING that they want to.

    MUD PARTY

    Have you ever been to North Georgia?  Have you been in  north Georgia after a few days of Rain?  If you have, you have seen and maybe got to experence one thing that I know is more slipper than snow or ice, and that is good old Georgia RED MUD.   If you were unfortune and got off the road and into the mud, all your car would do is spin it's tires and seak.  Well, handling horses in this MUD, you spend a lot of time sliding, slipping, and sometimes falling down.  If you slide down it happens so fast that there is nothing that you can do about it.  You get it all over yourself.  Well, this past weekend it rained all day all weekend.  I am not complaining about the rain because this part of the world needs all the rain it can get.  Rain will help the grass grow and the horse can enjoy it.  But, I spend a lot of time sliding,  slipping, and saying a lot of words that should not be heard by others.
          Then the horses becomes pigs and roll in it.  They have a MUD ROLLING PARTY.  I think that they try and see who can get the most mud on themselves.  They get mud in their ears, eyes and every else on their bodies.  I can njot even tell what color they are any more. 
          Once agin I had some trouble doing my show this past Sunday amd did not do one.  I hope to be back on the air this Sunday.  Once agin if you know anyone that is BLIND, GOING BLIND, OR HAS GONE BLIND AT A LATER TIME IN THEIR LIFE, I would love to hear from them.  I can help them to realize that they can do anything they want.  I know this because I have been BLIND all my life, and I have done anything that I wanted to.  Also you writers out there, my life story would be a great and best selling book.

    BRAIN RADDLED

    Hello who ever reads this.  If you believe in Friday the 13th being a bad day, I wish you all the luck.  I got my wake up call this morning at about 6;15 dst.   I know that everyone has droped something and you and another person reached down to pick it up and had a meeting of the heads.  Well try this with a horse.  I was feeding the seven horses that I help feed every day and I droped a treat that I was giving one of the horses, the horse put his head down to look for it and so did I. This horse weighs over 1000 pounds.   I thought that Iwas clear of the horse's head, but I was not.  When the horse brought his head up, he caught me up side the face just below the left eye.  I did not see stars this time, but now I look like I have been in a fight.  I could  not get mad at anyone but myself.  The horse did not feel a thing.  Another brain raddle and hard wake up call.
    I have heard that every time you get hit in the head that it makes it a little more soft, well one day I guess that my head and brain are going to be mush.
    Once again I would love to hear from anyone that is blind, going blind, or has gone blind later in life.  If you know anyone like this please  tell them to leave me a message.  I would love to tell them that their life is not over and they can still do anything they wish.  That a new and GREAT ADVENTURE has just started.
