“Been there, done that, and would ABSOLUTELY do it again!” 49 YO woman/Cleveland, OH

“Some of us 40-somethings have the maturity and experience of an older woman and are looking better than the 20-somethings....that's a fact.” 42 YO woman/Austin, TX

“I am currently in a relationship with a younger man. 16 years younger and I love it. I prefer younger men than older. Those thoughts about cougars as hunters or whatever are a damn lie.” 38 YO woman/Silver Springs, MD

“My first marriage was to a woman younger than me by 3 years - her issues were she was so immature and she was really too old acting for me. After several relationships with chicks my own age…I started seeing a woman 9 yrs older. We ARE married and have been together for almost 4 years.” 33 YO male/Lithonia, GA

As it pertains to older women: many terms are popular in American culture. A woman who pursues younger men is referred to as a "cougar", "panther" or "puma", while the man in a relationship with an older woman is often known as a "cub".

Putting aside the names momentarily: can a romance with a significantly younger man (say 8+ years or more) work for a more mature woman? What are some of the drawbacks…..AND the positives with this sort of dating relationship?

We’ll hear the stories of numerous adults (some of them married) who will provide a very balanced view of “dating outside your age range.”
